First Responders Help Desperate Man With Knife
Police officers and EMS personnel came to the aid of a distraught man armed with a knife just after 8 am. The man’s caregiver told police that the man had a knife and had threatened to harm himself.
When officers arrived at the scene, he refused treatment and told first responders to get out of his house. He became combative and made multiple threats to harm himself.
Officers temporarily detained him for his own safety, and medics transported him to the hospital for treatment.
