Gangsters Make Gun Threat in Rosemount

Two hurt in Rarden shooting

Deputies responded to the Rosemount area just after 5 a.m., after a caller said two men rolled up on him in a silver Cadillac without a tag and threatened him.

The caller said one man pulled a gun and said, “Real gangster life,” before leaving the area.

However, by the time deputies arrived, the victim and their witness had left for work. Officers said they would get a statement from them later. Deputies patrolled the area but didn’t spot a silver Caddy.

Three hours later, a caller reported someone passed out in a vehicle at the Marathon station on Rosemount Road. When officers investigated, the woman said she was just sleeping.

Deputies said she did not appear to be intoxicated.
