Gary D. Edmisten, 61 years old, passed away after a long battle with Cancer, in SOMC on May 10, 2023. Gary was born in West Union on February 12, 1962 to Robert and Bertha (Nee Jarvis) Edmisten.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Tom Edmisten, and two sisters: Linda Blythe and Phyllis Brown.
Gary was a carpenter all of his life. He enjoyed fishing, and doing things outside. He was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church in Peebles.
He was survived by his loving wife of ten years, Sandra (Nee Heppard) Edmisten of Peebles, one son, Troy (Katelyn) Edmisten of Cincinnati, one daughter, Logan Edmisten of Tennessee, one step son Tristan Spradlin of Peebles, one step daughter Brittany Spradlin of Piketon, seven grandchildren, two brothers: Henry Edmisten of Adams County and Robert Edmisten, Jr. of Manchester, and two sisters: Debbie Harris of Cincinnati and Juanita Richard of Adams County.
Gary’s wishes were to be cremated. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date for his family.
