Gary Dale Brewer, 52, of Lucasville, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023, at his home. He was born in Scioto County, Ohio on November 2, 1970, to the late Gary Lee and Brenda Sue (Gunter) Brewer. Gary was an avid outdoorsman he had a passion for hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved working on cars and had a big heart, he would gladly help anyone in need. Gary had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
Gary is survived by three sons, Daniel Brewer (Destiny Meadows) of Minford, Gary David Brewer of Athens, GA., and Chris Blevins of Portsmouth; a brother, James Allen Brewer (Janie) of Lucasville; two sisters, Sheri Gunter of Malonton, KY, and Betty Jean Wilson (Rick) of West Portsmouth; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Jordan, Elena, Brantley, Daniel, Samantha, and Sophia. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Donna Barnett.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 20, 2023 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Kenny Potter officiating. Interment will follow at Lucasville Cemetery.
