Genevieve Ratliff Bobo Nickel, 87, of South Shore, KY., went to be with her Lord Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, OH. She was born in Fullerton, KY., on June 30, 1936, a daughter of the late Troy Ratliff and Alfa McGuire Ratliff.
She was a member of Sunshine Community Church in South Shore, KY.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Bobo; second husband, Henry Nickel; one grandson, Nathan Bobo; one sister, Helen Perry; two brothers, Troy Ratliff and Jerry Ratliff.
Left behind to cherish her memory are two sons, Robert (Ann) Bobo Jr of Independence, KY., and Jeff (Pam) Bobo Sr of South Portsmouth, KY; two daughters, Lisa (Vince) Crace of Wellston, OH., and Jamisue (Keith) Glispie of South Shore, KY; one brother, Gene Ratliff of South Shore, KY; seven grandchildren, Carolyn (Tim) Newman, Robbie (Kelsey) Bobo, Ben (Cassidy) Bobo, Jeffrey (Tracila De Lima) Bobo II, Kristy (Mike) Nunley, Kayla (Chad) Hickman and Matthew (Wendy) Glispie; seventeen great-grandchildren, Jeter, Kellyanne, Henry, Heath, Dovie, Ava, Deacon, Emma, Maddi (Jayce), Katie, Avery, Brynna, Trendin, Evelyn, Andrew, Aiden, Lexi and one on the way Hudson; one great-great grandchild, Addi Rose and one on the way Indy. A very dear friend Julinia Robirds; along with several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Friday, September 29, 2023, at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Kenny Fox and Vince Crace officiating. Burial will follow at MT Zion Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday at the funeral home from 12 P.M. until the funeral hour.
