George “Lonnie” Sanborn, 70 years, West Portsmouth resident, went to live in his heavenly home, on January 24, 2022, where he will be pickin’ and singin’ with the Angels.
He played lead guitar and sang in several bands in the Mansfield, Ohio area. Which was what he loved to do.
Many know Lonnie as the owner and operator of Tri-State Overhead Doors of West Portsmouth, for almost 20 years.
Lonnie is survived by his wife, Brenda E. Sanborn, one stepson Carlton Rece Ellis, one grandson, Travis Rece Ellis (Kaylee Ellis), and one great-grandchild, Bradley, all are residents of West Portsmouth, Ohio, one brother Gary Sanborn of Mansfield, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents George and Jean Sanborn.
He was loved and respected by his friend, Mike Stone.
Lonnie was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
