Officers dealt with multiple complaints of women fighting in the Wayne Hills area. At 1 pm, a caller reported two women fighting in the parking lot of the Hisle Park Apartments. When officers arrived on the scene, the women said there hadn’t been a physical fight, and no one wanted to press charges.
Two hours later, police got a report of a group of people fighting at 17th and Kendall. Witnesses said a woman had a weapon.
When an officer responded, they spotted two women in the middle of a fight. The officer managed to separate the two. They learned Hayley Reid had an open warrant for endangering children. Police took her into custody and booked her into the Scioto County Jail.
Police were called back to the Hisle Park Apartments around 6 pm to follow up on threats made by one of the women involved in the altercation earlier in the day. An employee said the woman asked if the glass in the office was bulletproof. Then she said that anyone could shoot through it.
Officers spoke with the woman, and she said she was just joking.
