Grand Jury Hands Down 5 Drug Indictments 

The Scioto County Grand Jury handed down 5 indictments for drug-related charges during its latest session.  

Among those facing drug charges are: 

Neavida Scott, 39, a troubled woman with a nearly daily record of contact with police who police have arrested 43 times. She was charged with aggravated drug possession.  

Aaron Cantrell, 41, from West Portsmouth, faces charges of aggravated possession of drugs, possession of a fentanyl-related compound, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Cantrell has been in the Scioto County jail 14 times. He was last arrested back on February 19 for failure to appear and released 3 days later.  

Ricky Hamock II, 21, is charged with aggravated possession of drugs and possession of a fentanyl-related compound. Hamock has been arrest 8 times, most recently back in September for a probation violation. Hamock did time in prison for illegal manufacturing of drugs, possession of drugs, and illegal possession of chemicals but was let out on judicial release. 

Daniel Lewis 58, faces charges of possession of a fentanyl-related compound and drug paraphernalia. 

David Jenkins, 43, was indicted for possession of a fentanyl-related compound and drug paraphernalia.
