Just before 8 p.m., Kroger employees reported that a man and woman took off with two motorized carts and were headed toward the baseball field behind the Post Office.
Police caught up with the pair in a funeral home parking lot and contacted Kroger. The store sent employees to pick up the scooters.
Officers served trespass notices to both individuals and informed them they were barred from the store.
