Thieves made off with all manner of goods, including weapons and a debit card.
Officers headed to a Pedro home after a caller said someone broke into his home and stole a long rifle and a red crossbow overnight. He didn’t have serial numbers for the items, and there were no close neighbors. Police took information for a report.
Later that day, a Chesapeake resident said he’d awakened to find multiple debit card transactions totaling close to $750 from his bank account that morning. When he looked around, he could not find his debit card. Sadly, the last person to have access to it was his own granddaughter and the transactions were near her workplace. Officers took information for a report.
A South Point resident called officers because he said his nephew made off with his car battery charger and battery. Family members said the nephew was currently sleeping in a storage building nearby due to a drug issue. Officers were not able to locate him.
