Gunshots Cause Chaos at JJ’s  Shenanigans

Reports of gunshots caused panic at JJ’s Shenanigans at 1:43 am. A caller told police someone was shooting inside the bar. Further, the caller said the bar had locked the door and they were unsure who was shooting or if anyone was injured.

Officers arriving on the scene didn’t find any victims but they did find lots of different stories. Some folks said someone pulled out a gun but didn’t shoot while others said shots were fired. 

Police said they saw no shell casings. The incident seemed to have started with an argument but all the involved parties had left. Officers found no evidence to indicate a shooting.

Summit Street Woman Threatened With Gun

At 2:35 am, a Summit Street woman called police and said a man drove down her street and threatened her. The woman told officers he pulled out a gun and also threatened to damage the tires on her vehicle. 

She identified the man and said he was driving an orange SUV. By the time police arrived, he’d left the scene and they were unable to locate the guy. Officers too information for a report.

Dead Body Reported In Tunnel

Shortly before noon, a woman told police that a homeless man on the corner of 12th and Gay reported to her that he’d discovered a dead body in the tunnel under the railroad tracks near 28th Street. 

Police could not locate the homeless man, but they did check the tunnel. No body was discovered. 

Crappy Teen Gives Laxative To Little Kids

An angry Thomas Avenue grandpa contacted police at 8:16 pm to report that a 13-year-old boy gave a laxative to his 5-year-old grandson and another 7-year-old boy to drink.

He told police he was taking the kids to the hospital to get checked and wanted to advise officers.
