Half-Dressed Child Wanders 7th Street After Being Kicked Out of House
Officers took a woman into custody for child endangerment after a witness spotted a shirtless juvenile walking on 7th Street. The child said it had been kicked out of its house.
Officers contacted CPS workers and took a woman into custody for child endangerment.
Suspected Hit & Run Driver Arrested After 3 Cars Damaged on 6th Street
Officers took a man into custody after three vehicles were damaged on 6th Street on Sunday evening.
The incident happened around 7:30 pm, and officers caught up with the suspect vehicle in the 6500 block of Gallia Street a few minutes later.
Police arranged for his vehicle to be towed.
Police took Scott Hill into custody for driving under the influence.
Search For Missing Elderly Woman
Portsmouth Police searched for a missing elderly woman with dementia after a caller reported she walked away from Findlay Street headed in the direction of Kroger.
Officers located her in the store and stayed with her until her daughter arrived. Medics from the Portsmouth Fire Department transported the woman to SOMC for treatment.
