Hazel Scott, 92, of Portsmouth, passed away Monday, July 3, 2023, at the SOMC Hospice Center surrounded by family. She was born November 25, 1930, in Portsmouth, the daughter of the late Bertha Ola Carr and Charles Basil Craft.

Surviving are her three children, James Stanley (Claude Nagamine) Scott of Los Altos, CA, Dorothy Jean (Larry) Justice of Portsmouth, and Barbara Ann (James) McClintic of South Webster; two grandchildren, Larry Justice II and Joshua (Karyn) Justice; two great-grandchildren, Stephen (Hilary) Justice and Joseph Justice; and three half-siblings, Charles, Calvin and Diane Craft, all of Portsmouth.
