Officers were called to the Scioto County Courthouse to remove a suspicious homeless person just after 11 am. They dropped her off at the homeless shelter.
Shortly afterward, they realized she had an open warrant, so they returned to the homeless shelter to take her into custody.
Officers served Amy Gilliam with a warrant for failure to appear and booked her into the Scioto County Jail.
Gilliam has a long arrest history for charges including persistent disorderly conduct, domestic violence, aggravated menacing, violating a protection order, and failure to appear.
