A woman contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office to report she’d had a very unpleasant encounter at the Wheelersburg McDonald’s.
She said that while she was at the restaurant, her ex’s girlfriend threw an iced coffee at her. She said this wasn’t the only problem she’d had with the woman, who is an employee at McDonald’s.
Deputies headed to the restaurant to speak to the employee and her manager. The manager played back security footage that showed the employee tossing a coffee into the vehicle of the woman who complained.
The manager said they would consult with the owner about disciplinary action. Officers advised the victim to file a protection order against the woman.
