Two female inmates got into a hair-pulling fight because one of the women was snoring loudly and disturbing her cellmate.
Corrections officers at the Lawrence County jail first heard the disturbance around 4:15 am when one of the inmates screamed, “Get off of me bitch!”

When they arrived at the cell block, they spotted one inmate with a hand full of another inmate’s hair. The woman holding the hair said her cellmates woke her up to complain about her snoring and started hitting her.
Officers noted one woman had a red face and the other a bloody lip. Officers locked down the cell block and took statements from witnesses.
