Just before midnight, officers responded to the Super 8 on US 23 for a report of a disturbance in the lobby.
A caller said an intoxicated man with a mohawk had busted out a window in the lobby.
When deputies arrived, they said the man was in the lobby. Officers reported he was calm and admitted he hit the window.

He told the officer he didn’t think he’d hit the window that hard and was willing to pay for it.
Management at the hotel said the man could stay as long as he paid for the window and behaved himself.
