“I’ve Got a Gun”: Yelling on Dorman Drive Ends in Arrest

A night of alarming shouts on Dorman Drive ended with an arrest after multiple callers reported hearing a woman threaten to shoot herself and then saw her stumbling down the street.

The first 911 call came around 7:40 p.m., when a resident said he’d heard a woman yelling suspicious things since late afternoon — including the chilling line, “I have a gun and I will blow my [expletive] brains out.” Another caller soon reported seeing a woman stumbling down a nearby hill.

When officers arrived, they spotted a woman walking down Dorman toward Daniels Avenue carrying a bag. While no weapon was visible, police stopped her for questioning.

Inside her backpack, officers reported finding syringes and drug paraphernalia. Despite attempts to read her Miranda rights, the woman continued screaming and refused to answer questions.

Police arrested Deanna Gogen for disorderly conduct, possessing drug abuse instruments, and possessing drug paraphernalia. She was booked into the Scioto County Jail.
