Jamie Fuller, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 26. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Jamie was born on June 12, 1997, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to her parents Jay and Salena Fuller. From an early age, it was evident that Jamie possessed a remarkable spirit and a zest for life that would touch the hearts of many. She was a shining light in the lives of those around her, and her passing leaves an immense void in the community she called home.

One of Jamie’s true passions was cooking. Jamie was a 2016 graduate of Scioto County Career and Technical Center where she found and explored her love of culinary education.  She enjoyed creating delicious dishes that brought joy to those who tasted her creations. Whether it was experimenting with new recipes or preparing cherished family favorites, Jamie’s culinary skills were a source of delight and comfort to her loved ones. Her kitchen was always filled with mouthwatering aromas or crazy experiments and laughter shared with family.

In addition to her culinary talent, Jamie had a deep passion for drawing. She had a natural gift for capturing the beauty of the world around her through pencil and paper. Jamie’s sketches were a reflection of her artistic soul. She could sit and draw for hours. Whether it was a breathtaking landscape or a simple portrait, her drawings were a testament to her creativity and imagination. Jamie’s artwork brought joy to those who beheld it, and her talent will be remembered as an integral part of her vibrant spirit.

Above all else, Jamie had an extraordinary gift for connecting with people. Her genuine kindness and infectious smile made her a friend to anyone and everyone who crossed her path. Jamie possessed an innate ability to make others feel seen, heard, and valued, and her friendships were built on a foundation of love, acceptance, and unwavering support. Her compassionate nature touched the lives of countless individuals, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.

Jamie Fuller leaves behind a legacy of love and joy. She will forever be remembered for her culinary prowess, her artistic talent, and her ability to nurture profound connections with others. Jamie’s spirit will continue to live on in the memories shared by her family and friends.

Jamie is survived by her parents, Salena Fuller of Portsmouth, Ohio, and Jay (Amanda) Fuller of McDermott, Ohio, her grandparents, Janet Fuller of Lucasville, Ohio, and Marion Durham of Jackson, Ohio, her great grandmother Martha Smith of Lucasville, Ohio, her siblings Lauren (Hailey) Orban of Pearland, Texas and Katherine (Seth) Moore of West Portsmouth, Ohio, step brothers; Michael, Dylan, and Carter Hobbs, and her nephews Aiden Orban, Avian Orban and Miles Poe. Jamie is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Patrick Orban, a Grandfather, James Fuller, and a Grandmother, Rebecca Dunham. She will also be deeply missed by her extended family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.

Funeral Services to celebrate Jamie’s life will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, October 23, 2023, at the Roger W Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Julia M. Wiget officiating and interment in UP Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday starting at 11 AM.
