A police chase ended with a Jeep driven by a wanted man crashing into a creek just after 3 in the morning.

Around 3 am, a deputy attempted to pull over a Jeep pulling a trailer on Arion Road, but the driver decided to take off, hitting speeds near 80 miles an hour after turning onto 73 and then onto Euton Road. The trailer ended up in the creek in some pretty high water, but officers were able to get the driver, who they said put up a fight before they took him into custody.

Deputies learned the man had open warrants for probation violation.
