Jeffrey Ray Snook, 60, of Camp Bennett, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021, at Southern Ohio Medical Centers emergency room. He was born October 12, 1961, in Portsmouth, a son of Shirley (Phillips) Campbell and the late Raymond Lee Snook.
Jeff worked for Fluor B&W in Waste Management. He was a former member of the Portsmouth Pigeon Club, enjoyed fishing, participating in Tournament Bass Fishing, hunting, camping, riding dirt bikes, 4 wheelers, going to car shows, working on cars and model trains.
Besides his mother, Jeff is survived by his wife of 45 years, Janet (Luther) Snook; a son, Shane Snook of Camp Bennett; a daughter, Courtney Schafer and husband Pete of Marietta; a grandchild, Scotlyn Rae Snook; aunt and uncle, Richard and Sharon Phillips. Besides his father, he was also preceded in death by a special grandmother, Norma Phillips and husband David and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday December 15, 2021 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME (Wolfe-Nelson Chapel) in Sciotoville. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6 to 8 PM Tuesday and 12 Noon to 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
