With the humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce that Juanita “Joyce” Green went home to be with the Lord on June 1, 2024. Joyce was born February 4, 1934, in Portsmouth to the late Albert and Opal Cregger.
Along with her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her loving grandson, David Isaac Green.
Throughout her life, Joyce was an avid reader, gardener, and bowling league member. She enjoyed her cats and watching the hummingbirds that flocked to her yard. Joyce was an active member of Dry Run Church of Christ for many years. Above all, Joyce was a faithful servant to God and a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She showed grace and love to all throughout her life.
She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Kenneth E. Green, her children: Brenda Malone and Larry (Laura) Green, the daughter of her heart Vicki Green, her grandchildren; Joshua (Savannah) Malone, Jeremiah Malone, Jacob (Wendy) Green and Elijah Green, 3 great grandchildren; Van Green, Vince Green and Jase Malone, along with her brother Don Cregger.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace, with Mark Seevers officiating.
