Judith Loretta Prose, 77 of West Portsmouth, died Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Edgewood manor in Lucasville. She was born June 8, 1944, in Portsmouth to the late James Monroe and Pearlie Shepherd Howard.
Judy was a member of the Stoney Run Freewill Baptist Church.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Joshua Robert Prose, 2 brothers; Orville Howard and Paul Howard, a sister Goldie Royal and a granddaughter Jessica.
Judy is survived by her husband Robert “Bob” Prose whom she married April 11, 1964, 3 daughters; Robin (Greg) Timberlake, Tammie Prose and Stephanie (Randy) Callihan, a son Mickey (Patsy) Prose, 11 Grandchildren: Dillon Timberlake, Zachary Davis, Erika Ward, Kati Hall Caralea Wheelersburg, Luke Bricker, Braxton, and Sydni Callihan, Harrison, Travis Prose, and Maria Prose, 10 great-grandchildren: Keaten, Kenslie, Kaison Ward, Jayla and Londyn Bricker, Kaylence, Kenden, Kainen Byrd, Claira Davis, and Lynleigh Jo Middaugh and her dog Brownie.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, January 20, 2022, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Craddock Frye and Roger Clark officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM. The family would like to thank all of the healthcare workers from over the years for all of their special care they gave Judy.
