Kenneth R. Carver, 74, of West Portsmouth, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth. He was born August 25, 1950, to the late Vernon and Margaret (Fishburn) Carver. Kenneth was a retired sheet metal worker. He loved going to church and was a dedicated Sunday School teacher. Kenneth was a family man, a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of over 56 years, Wanda (Collins) Carver; three sons, Kenneth C. Carver and wife Christine of West Portsmouth, Mike Carver and wife Cindy of West Portsmouth, Jeromy Carver and wife Sarah of Stout; two brothers, David L. Carver of Rome, OH and Ralph Carver of West Portsmouth; fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene Carver and Albert Daniel Carver, and one sister, Cressie Carver.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 2024, at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston, with Pastor Kenneth C. Carver officiating.
