Kid Requests Jail to Get Away From Mom
A kid tired of being nagged by his mom contacted 911 at 2 pm to ask if officers could keep him overnight in a jail cell.
When 911 asked if there was an emergency, he said he was sick of his mom and hung up. Officers learned that the boy had been arguing with his mom about doing chores.
Deputies advised him to do what his mother said.
Dirt Bikes Speed Through Park
Witnesses reported folks riding dirt bikes speeding through Earl Thomas Conley Park and getting dangerously close to kids.
Witnesses said the bikers headed toward Careys Run Road, so deputies searched the area until they caught up with them. Officers advised the bikers to stay out of the park.
