CVS employees caught an underage shoplifter in the act. The youngers tried to make off with approximately $63 worth of merchandise.
Management did not want to press charges, but they did want the child trespassed from the store. Officers contacted the child’s parents, who were out of town but gave a family friend permission to collect their wayward child while they traveled to Portsmouth from Columbus.
