A woman contacted PPD at 10 am to report someone attempted to abduct her from the Aldi Foods Parking Lot.
She said that while she was putting her groceries away, a clean-shaven man in his 60s pulled up behind her and asked if she was busy. She said she told the man she was in a hurry. He then said he was lonely and wanted some company.
She said she then went back inside the store to report the incidents to employees and the man kept circling the parking lot in his vehicle in what she felt was an abduction attempt. The woman was afraid the man might be following her.
Officers took information for a report.
