Portsmouth Police Officers headed to New Boston to lend a hand after NBPD requested help because they were overwhelmed with calls.
When officers arrived on the scene at Tri-State Mobility, two people told officers that another man on the scene had kidnapped them.
New Boston PD took charge of the investigation, and Portsmouth Police gave one of the alleged victims a ride home to his apartment.
Booking records from the jail do not indicate that NBPD arrested anyone in connection with the incident.
