Kids Raped by Three Women

The Scioto County Sheriff says that three Scioto County women raped multiple kids. Law enforcement says there are multiple victims ranging in age from three to thirteen. Both boys and girls were targeted by this twisted trio.

According to a report from the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office, the three women traded the kids for drugs and money. An investigation revealed that children were taken to a house in Wheelersburg where they were raped by multiple people. These sick attacks were allegedly recorded as both videos and still pictures.

Three women are alleged to be behind these sick acts: Magan RIchmond, 32, of Lindeman Road in Portsmouth, Tasha Stringer, 37, of Germany Hollow Road in Wheelersburg, and Kathryn McMullen, 36, of Brushy Fork Road in South Webster. All were arrested and charged with felony rape.

Officials say the children have been removed from their homes by Scioto County Children Services and are no longer in danger. The women are being held on a $100,000 bond at the Scioto County Jail and are expected to appear in Portsmouth Municipal Court on Monday.

The Sheriff’s Office, Ohio Attorney General, Prosecutor’s Office, and the FBI will continue to work together jointly on the investigation and are seeking information on any more possible victims. If you have information, call Detective Jodi Conkel at 740-351-1091.

Each year over 5,000 Ohio children are reported to have been sexually abused. Statistics show only 38% of kids who are victims of sex abuse tell someone. Sixty percent of these kids are abused by close friends or family members.

While many think of child sex trafficking as involving kidnapping by strangers, it is frequently relatives or friends of the family that allow kids to be raped and used for child pornography in exchange for drugs and money.  If you suspect a child is being traded for sex immediately call your local law enforcement.
