KY woman busted for using dog urine in drug test

A Kentucky woman has been arrested after she attempted to use her dog’s urine to pass a drug test at the Bell County Probation and Parole Office on Monday.

Julie Miller, 40, of Arjay, was at the office for a probation visit that came with a regular drug screening. An officer at the probation office caught miller with a sample of urine and called Pineville Police.

After being read her rights, Pineville Officer Michael Smith questioned the woman who admitted that she smuggled in a sample of her dog’s urine because she knew she would fail the drug test. Miller said she would test positive for meth and Suboxone.

Miller was arrested and taken to the Bell County Detention Center where she was charged with tampering with physical evidence. Additionally, she was served with a probation violation and the Bell County Sheriff’s Department served her with a warrant for trafficking in a controlled substance.
