Larry David Book, 74, of Portsmouth, OH., passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH. He was born in Portsmouth, OH., May 17, 1947 a son of the late William and Helen Kitchen Lowe.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Paulita Defoe Book; three brothers, Keith Lowe, Bill Pat Lowe and Ronnie Howard; two sisters, ShirleyLowe and Debra Howard.
Larry was a Veteran of the United States Navy.
Left behind to cherish his memory are one son, Thomas (Megan) Book of Fairborn, OH; one daughter, April Nelson of Zanesville, OH; two sisters, Linda(Eric) Kvant of Troy, OH and Sharon Fultz(Jeffrey) of Middleburg, FL; two brothers, Richard (Teresa) Book of Wheelersburg, OH and Greg(Vickie) Howard of Grayson, KY; four granddaughters, Kailyn Hackworth, Alexandria Hackworth, Kendra Hackworth, and Shyanne Patterson. Along with several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Friday, February 25, 2022, at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Greg Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Wheelersburg, OH. Visitation will be Thursday,
February 24, 2022, from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the funeral home and from 12 P.M until the service hour on Friday.
