Leatha C. Slark, 61, of West Portsmouth, passed away on February 4, 2026. She was born February 25, 1964, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to the late Harold and Louella (Tackett) Slark.
Leatha found joy in the everyday moments of life. She loved playing bingo, spending time in her kitchen cooking, and visiting with her many friends. She especially treasured every moment with her beloved grandchildren, Jacob and Kinzlee, who were the light of her life. Leatha also had a special place in her heart for her pups, Rocky and Bruno. She had a green thumb and took great pride in her flowers and houseplants, which she lovingly cared for.
In addition to her parents, Leatha was preceded in death by her brothers, Tim and Gary Slark, and her sister, Pam Slark.
She is survived by her son, Tyler (Alyssa VanHoose) Slark of West Portsmouth; her sisters, Betty Raper of Arkansas and Brenda Hall of Lucasville; and her cherished grandchildren, Jacob and Kinzlee Slark, as well as many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
