Born on November 13, 1965, in Portsmouth.

She was a graduate of Wheelersburg High School in the class of 1984.

Lisa established Headlines Hair Salon in 1997 and enjoyed her career as a hairstylist and the relationships she formed with her clients. She was well known for her passion for her job, creativity, wisdom and her fun personality.

Lisa attended Christ Community Church, where she was baptized and blessed to form friendships to help carry her through her journey.

Surviving are her husband, Timothy Sparks, who she was happily married to for 29 years, and was her favorite travel partner that she loved immensely; a daughter and best friend, Miranda (Craig) Neff; a stepson, Brett (Brandi) Sparks; two grandchildren, Wyatt and Marli Neff, who were the greatest joys of her life and she spoiled any chance she got; her father, Paul and Darlene Shively; her mother, Judy Warner Rase; her siblings, Julie (Anthony) Panzera, Nikki (Jerod) Tilley and Adam (Jessica Haas) Rase and many nieces and nephews.

She also had a very special group of friends she nicknamed the “lunch ladies”, Lisa Williams, Susan Williams Stephenson, and Mary Tilley, who were always by her side and her special friend, Ralph Clay, who she referred to as her “hotline” to Jesus.

Her family would like to thank the SOMC Staff, SOMC Hospice, Christ Community Church, and the many friends and family members for their love and support.

A Celebration of Lisa’s Life will be announced at a later time.

Memorial contributions may be made to SOMC Hospice.
