Lloyd Logan, 98, of South Shore, Kentucky, passed away peacefully with the Lord on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at his home. He was born in Tygarts Valley, Kentucky, on October 30, 1926, to the late Tobias Logan and Martha Rayburn Logan.

Lloyd was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a lifelong member of Post 276 American Legion, where he participated in the honor guard and performed funeral services for fallen veterans in the area. In addition, he enjoyed tending to his garden and spending time outdoors.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise (Warnock) Logan; one son, Curtis Lloyd Logan; one daughter, Susan Gail Logan; six brothers: Floyd, Carl, Jack, Lee, Burt, and Enoch; and two sisters: Edith Bryant and Myrtle Murray.

He is survived by two sons: Larry Dale Logan and his wife, Sheila, of Brunswick, Georgia, and Roger Dean Logan of South Shore, Kentucky. Lloyd also leaves behind three grandchildren: Nicole Logan of Dunbar, West Virginia; Brandy Gullett and her husband, Chester, of South Shore, Kentucky; and Kimberly Burchett and her husband, Glen, of Louisa, Kentucky. In addition, he is survived by four great-grandchildren: Haley, Sophie, Noah, and Macy, as well as his daughter-in-law, Tammy Logan of South Shore, Kentucky, along with many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky, with Gary Howell officiating. Burial will take place at Mt. Zion Cemetery in South Shore, Kentucky. Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 A.M. until the start of the service. The arrangements are under the care of Roberson Funeral Home.
