Local Grandparents Accused of Murder, Rape Appear in Court Today
Portsmouth, Ohio- Richard and Sonya Greene made one of their final appearances before their trial date. The pair are charged with the rape and murder of Annabell Rochelle Greene, age 5, on July 08, 2020.
Sonya Greene is charged with:
2 Counts Aggravated Murder
3 Counts Felonious Assault
6 Counts Rape
11 Counts Endangering Children
Sonja Greene pleaded “Not Guilty” on all counts and was remanded without bail.
Richard Greene is charged with:
2 Counts Aggravated Murder
3 Counts Felonious Assault
6 Counts Rape
9 Counts Endangering Children
Richard Greene pleaded “Not Guilty” on all counts and was remanded without bail.

The date set for the trial to begin has been set for May 17th.
