Logan Alexander Etterling, 18 of Portsmouth, Ohio went to be with the Lord on February 19th, 2025.

Logan was born on February 9th, 2007 to Amy Crump, and Joseph Etterling. Logan was a senior at SCCTC and was pursuing a career in Auto Body/Auto Tech. He was set to graduate this May. Logan was a student at South Webster from Pre-K through Freshman Year, where he transitioned to East High School.

Logan loved the outdoors and driving around listening to music with his best friend Logan Barrett. He loved gaming, and was a huge “foodie”. He also enjoyed being around his family, and spending quality time with those he loved including his girlfriend, Maddy Keaton.

Logan is preceded in death by his aunt Marlie Marie Crump, grandfather Paul Crump, grandmother Brenda L. Etterling, cousin LCPL. Jonathan E. Etterling, and many other special loved ones.

Logan is survived by his mother; Amy Crump; father, Joseph Etterling, step-mother; Jessica Etterling, sisters; Lexi (Gavin) Murphy, and Haley Weiss, brother; Hunter Tibbs, grandfathers; Richard Etterling and Mitchell (Kim) Crump, and grandmother, Jessica Holsonback. great- grandmothers; Florence Crump and Beulah Stanley. Aunts; Amber (Kenny) Cochran, Stephanie Crump, Christy Vansickle, Karen Etterling, and Hope (Jamie) Wolfe. Uncles; Michael Murphy, Danny Vansickle, and Jeremiah (Jessica) Kingery, and many other special loved ones.

Logan was a Christian who became a missionary as he worked hard to spread the good news of our Lord and Savior. Logan had a beautiful soul and a kind loving heart who loved his friends and family and will be missed by many.

Funeral Services will be 6:00 pm Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at South Webster Elementary School Gymnasium with visitation from 4-6 pm for ALL who knew and loved him. Private interment will be held at a later date. His favorite colors were blue and purple, and if you feel led to wear those colors please feel free to do so.
