Lois Ann Manchester, 61, of West Portsmouth, died Friday, May 17, 2024, at her home. She was born August 19, 1962 in Mansfield to the late Russell Coleman and Shirley Ann Hall Conley.
Lois was a 1980 graduate of Portsmouth West High School. Her life revolved around her family and you could always find her at her granddaughter’s school and sporting events. She loved to cook and everyone knew they would be taken care of at Lou’s house.
Lois is survived by her husband Robert “Bob” Manchester, whom she married on September 13, 1980, a son Robert Manchester Jr., a daughter, Stacey Reed, a brother, Roger (Lana) Conley, 2 sisters; Kathy (Jeff) Shupert and Robin (Jerry) Coleman, a sister in law; Penny (Jeff) Hubbard, and a granddaughter, whom her world revolved around, her “Sweet Pea”, Kensley Reed. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews who she loved greatly and gave her the known nickname Lou Lou; Brison and Blake Shupert, Tesa Crabtree, Trevor (Magen), Taylor, and Grace Conley, Kacie and Kelsie (Jordan) Callihan, Sarah (Eddie) Coleman, J.D. (Alexis) Jones and 13 great nieces and nephews; Kenlynn, Karrieonna, Khloe, Ozzie Jo, Waylon, Korbin, Oaklynn, Casen, Baby Conley, Gavin, Braiden, Braxton, and Clover.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor Rick Phillips officiating. Interment will be in Collier Memorial Gardens.
