A woman looking for company kidnapped a man’s phone after he drove her home from the Party Time Bar just after 4 am.
The man said he was taking several people home from the Party Time bar. He dropped a man off on Vinton Avenue, and a woman off on 7th Street before heading to the 16th Street Apartments to drop off another woman.
The woman asked him to come into her apartment to stay. When he told her didn’t plan on staying, she became angry, grabbed his phone, and threw it out the vehicle window along with his phone holder.
He got out of the vehicle to look for the phone but was only able to locate the phone holder. He asked another woman in the vehicle to call his phone to help locate it.
The woman who threw the phone out the window answered it and told him to come inside and hang out with her. When he refused, she hung up. He took the remaining woman home.
The estimated cost to replace the Galaxy Note 20 Plus Ultra phone is $800. Police took information for a report.
