Lorraine E. Shepherd, 87 of West Portsmouth, died Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born October 9, 1933, in Scioto County to the late Percy and Rowena Sickles Dodridge.
She was a former Williams Shoe employee and was a member of Dry Run Church of Christ since 1968.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Elliott Shepherd whom she married on October 27, 1951, 2 sisters; Dorothy Evelyn Dodridge and Betty Lou Dodridge.
Lorraine is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, David E. and Linda Payton Shepherd, 2 grandchildren Tina Shepherd (Allen) and Scott Shepherd, 2 great-grandchildren Nathaniel and Nicholas Shepherd, along with a sister-in-law Carolyn Andrews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Mark Seevers officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
