Loueda Lyon

Loueda “Fawn” Lyon, 94, of Minford, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025 at her residence. She was born October 3, 1930 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late James and Jennie White, she was a retired LPN from Mercy Hospital, and a member of Madison Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Virgil (Anna) Lyon, Jr. of McPerson, KS, Elaine (Bub) Simpson of Lucasville, Mark Lyon (Stacy Routt) of Clearwater, Florida; four grandchildren, Amy (James) Innes of Moyock, NC, Virgil (Leah) Lyon, III of McPherson, KS, Gregory (Jessica) Simpson of Chillicothe, Anthony (Misty) Simpson of Lucasville, and thirteen great grandchildren, Matthew, Collin, Eddie Innes, Virgil IV, Simon, Henry, Betsy Lyon, Zaden Jones, Makhia Simpson, Taylor, Katelynn, Braxton, and Colton Simpson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil C. Lyon; her sister, Juanita Gilpin; three brothers, Delmar White, James White, Mitchell White, and her great grandson, Brayden Simpson.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Don Noel officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
