Scioto County Commissioners took the final step in kicking off construction of a new kayak launch in Lucasville, which they hope will help jumpstart local watersports tourism.
The trio unanimously approved giving Scioto Valley Paving the go-ahead to proceed with the construction of the ramp.
Commissioner Scottie Powell said, “This is the notice to proceed on our behalf to start moving dirt out there in Lucasville for our access point.”
