First Responders airlifted a man to St. Mary’s Hospital after an accident at Express Oil Change on Gallia Street. Just after 3 pm, a caller reported a man fell and hit his head and was bleeding.
An air ambulance stood by at the Union Street Helipad, and a squad from the Portsmouth Fire Department transported the man there. The air ambulance transported the patient to St. Mary’s Hospital.
Victim Airlifted After Motorcycle Crash on Kirker Road
The victim of a motorcycle crash was airlifted to the hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
Around 6:30 pm, a report of a crash at Kirker Road/St. Rt. 772 came into dispatch.
A rescue squad responded to the scene and called for an air ambulance. The helicopter landed in Rarden Park and the squad met them there.
The chopper transported the victim to Cabell Huntington Hospital.
Car Bursts Into Flames In Rarden
A car burst into flames behind the Marathon Station on Depot Street in Rarden.
Deputies and Fire personnel responded to the scene at 3 am. There was no one around the car, but it was destroyed by fire. Deputies arranged for a tow and said they would check the security video at the 1st Stop to see if it captured anything.
