A man who was just paroled two weeks ago on a prison sentence for trespassing was caught red-handed trespassing again in a condemned house on Summit Street.
A neighbor called the police just before 5 pm when they said they heard someone yelling inside the house. When officers arrived on the scene, they found Steven Adams, who was just released from Mansfield Correctional Institution back on February 22 to transitional housing and treatment. He apparently violated the terms of that release fairly quickly, as the Ohio Department of Corrections already had him listed as an offender at large.
Officers took him into custody for parole violation and booked him into the Scioto County Jail for the 11th time.
Previous arrests include burglary, carrying a concealed weapon, violating a protection order, domestic violence probation violation, assault, aggravated menacing, carrying a concealed weapon, DUI, and criminal damaging.
