Officers responding to a domestic complaint in Minford took a man into custody after discovering he was armed and under the influence.
A woman called 911 at 9:30 pm to report her boyfriend was intoxicated and carrying a weapon. She said they’d argued earlier, and he was now outside in his car drinking with a gun in his possession.

When deputies arrived to investigate, they took a weapon away from Lowell Strickland and took him into custody.
Officers booked him into the Scioto County Jail for using a weapon while intoxicated.
