A man called Portsmouth Police to intervene after his attempts at becoming a sugar daddy went wrong. He told officers he’d been spending $250 a day for the past month on a younger woman.
She was supposed to use the money to get treatment for her drug addiction and then return home to pursue a romantic relationship with him. He said he’d allowed the woman to come and go at his house, given her rides, and even run errands for her with no return.
Officers said the man didn’t seem impaired and even commented that he shouldn’t have tried to pursue a younger woman. Police said nothing criminal happened and advised the man to break off all contact with the woman.
The 35-year-old homeless woman whose affection he was hoping to buy has a long history of drug arrests and was arrested earlier this month for possessing drug abuse instruments and back in June for disorderly conduct.
