An elderly man called 911 for help just before 9 pm, claiming his son had abused him and was trying to kill him.
He called back a few minutes later to say his son had left the house but had said, “He would kill the deputies.”
The son called 911 a few minutes later to say he was waiting in his truck at the end of the road waiting for a deputy.

Deputies and EMS responded to the scene. Medics checked over the father, and officers took the son into custody and transported him to the Sheriff’s Office for questioning.
