Man Claims Police Force Guilty of Manslaughter, Theft, and Bribery

Police

An angry man says an area police force is guilty of manslaughter, theft, bribery, and other serious charges – and that the local government is in on it with them.

He walked into the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office to say he’d been investigating the Village of Proctorville and the police department for 18 months and proof of several serious charges.

He said among the laws broken were dereliction of duty, bribery, theft in office, grand theft, and manslaughter.

Further, he said it was not just one person but multiple council members, the mayor, the chief of police, and other village employees. He requested a meeting with the Lawrence County Sheriff and Prosecutor, as well as BCI Investigators, to present the evidence.

However, officers said at that time, no evidence had been collected or submitted to the Sheriff’s Office.
