Just after 6 am, a 27th Street caller contacted police to report a barefoot man fell in their driveway, then got up and walked away.
At the same time, a woman called police to say her husband had walked away from SOMC in his bare feet.

Officers caught up with the man, but he refused to go back to the hospital. Police gave him a ride home to his wife so she could take care of him.
