Man in Underwear Busted at DESCO
Just before 3 am, officers responded to DESCO at 5th and Washington for a report of a man in his underwear in the lot.
Officers took the man into custody and booked him into the Scioto County Jail.
Suspicious Activity on Sunday Morning
Officers spent Sunday morning chasing down multiple reports of suspicious activity. At 7:17 am, a railroad employee contacted 911 to report they’d found a homeless man with a broken foot on their property. An ambulance transported the man to the hospital.
At 8:30 am, a witness reported a suspicious man near O’Reilly Auto Parts. Police took the man into custody.
An hour later, a caller reported a woman rooting in the dumpster at the Goodwill Book Store. She said the woman had opened one end of the dumpster and feared the woman might leave it open, allowing a child to get it.
When officers spoke to the woman at the dumpster, she said she would clean up the mess and shut the door when she was finished.
