Man Makes Shooting Threats, Then Abandons His Dog 

Officers responded to 7th Street at 11 am after witnesses said a man accompanied by a German Shepherd made threats that he was going to get a gun and come back.  

Witnesses said he was looking for a specific individual and planned to kill him when he found him. Police took information for a report.  

Thirty minutes later, a citizen flagged down an officer to report that the German Shepherd was running loose in the area. Local residents said they would adopt the seemingly abandoned dog.  

Body Discovered on Sinton Street 

Officers and EMS responded to Sinton Street at 11:35 am after a report of an unresponsive individual.  

When medics and EMS arrived on the scene, they confirmed the individual was deceased. Police took information for a report.
